australiaaa

a country i want to visit when i leave school is definitely australia. i love it and i think it is just so pretty. there is so much to do there too like sight seeing, going to the sydeny opera house, great barrier reef and it would be amazing to watch the australian open while i was there.

so many people that have come home from the country has said it is the best ever and they would definitely go back. I definitely was to live there for at least a year and work over there. the only bad thing is it is so expensive to get there but it would be so worth it.

i am only pointing out a few things that you could do in australia but there is a million more. australia is a great country but we're still better at rugby!!!

3 weeks to midterm

On Tuesday we went to Mullingar for the Briery gap competition. There we preformed our plays each TY class came up with and there were other schools there too. It was so much fun because we weren't in school. We also got mcdonalds which was so nice. The last play was my favourite because it was so funyn hahaha

Also this week we have to choose our option subjects for leaving cert and i dont know what to do yet. We had work experience on Wednesday in Celbridge Manor hotel. We got lamb and chips and gravy for lunch which was nice but i needed salt.

I cant wait for midterm which is in three weeks. I hope it goes fast.

Work Experience 2

Last Wednesday, the 7th, we started our second work experience. I chose to do it in Celbridge Manor. Sarah C is also doing it there. So on the first day we walked up together and told the receptionist we were here for work experience where she called Gayle. Gayle was in a meeting so Susan took care of us instead. For the day we filled in the appointment book and did some accounts. We got some free lunch. We got to choose between Veg Soup and Beef stir fry, we both chose soup and it was so good. We got to leave at three oclock.

This wednesday was the same we went in for ten and we were given the task of taking down the christmas decorations in the lobby. The christmas tree was like 8ft tall so it took us two hours to remove all the decorations. We then got our lunch, we got lasange and chips. We went on a walk around the hotel in our half hour break. After that we were told to take down another christmas tree in one of the function rooms. This took just over an hour and a half so then they allowed us to leave afterwards.

Oh and last thursday we went to RDS for Young Scientist. A group from our school we there. My favourite project was a group from Lucan who studied to see if amateur rugby clubs had something to test concussions. I really liked this because I am a big fan of rugby. We also met hometown, well not really they were singing there and i screamed at them to come over so i could get a picture. My hair looks red in it but its not really.

bye see u next week!!!
